A Century and a Half
The Mill Pond Inn is no ordinary inn and event space. With generations of history behind it, learn more about the legacy that this important place has established in Upstate New York.
150 Years of History
The historic Mill Pond Inn was built in 1879 by the Mann Brothers, who ran a grain and sawmill on the property. When David and Joan purchased the property in 2017, it had been abandoned for twenty-two years, but retained many of its original details.
Bringing Back the History
It was very important to us that we bring back the magic and charm that the original building had. This meant focusing closely on structural details, remodeling from old photographs and blueprints, and not allowing even the smallest detail to go unnoticed.
Quality and Timelessness
It took some time, but we wanted the renovation done right. Everything from furniture to moldings to tiling was considered.
Today, the house features five rooms with private baths, a relaxing front porch, and a large back deck with stunning views of the mill pond. An event space for parties of up to 100, with additional space in the bar, are also available.
